Cooper Tire Europe becomes exclusive tire supplier for Motorsport UK British Rallycross Championship 5 Nations Trophy
MELKSHAM, UK, JANUARY 13, 2020 – Cooper Tire Europe will serve as the exclusive tire supplier for the Motorsport UK British Rallycross Championship 5 Nations Trophy through 2022. Recently awarded to the Lydden Hill Race Circuit to promote and organise, the championship will be formally known as the Motorsport UK British Rallycross Championship 5 Nations Trophy Presented by Cooper Tires.
Multiple British and European rallycross championships have been won on Cooper-manufactured products over the last three decades. Cooper Tires currently supplies the FIA World Rallycross Championship, the FIA European Rallycross Championship, the RX2 International Series, the FFSA French Rallycross Championship, RallyX Nordic and Rallycross on Ice.
Suitable for rear-wheel drive, front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive vehicles, Cooper will supply all categories on the ‘5 Nations’ programme: ‘Supercar’, ‘Super National’, ‘Super 1600’, ‘Retro’, ‘Suzuki Swift’, ‘Suzuki Swift Junior’, ‘BMW Mini’ and ‘RX 150 buggy’. The provisional 2020 calendar includes events in England, Wales, Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands.
