The Champ Car Atlantic Championship will see all 12 of its 2007 races televised on ESPN2 as part of Champ Car’s multi-year agreement with the ESPN family of networks. ESPN2, which is available in approximately 92 million homes across the United States, will air each Atlantic race on tape-delay, typically within the week following each event. The industry leader in sports programming will capture all of the action this season as the talented Atlantic field of rising stars strive to fulfill their Champ Car dreams.

Tyre Information
The series tires are purpose-built, high-performance Cooper Atlantic racing slicks and rain tires manufactured by Cooper Tire and fitted to 15-inch wheels. These tires will run on single-seat, open-wheel, Champ Car-type vehicles manufactured by Swift Engineering. The all-new Swift 016.a is the designated spec chassis for the championship, which is powered by a 2.3-liter Mazda-Cosworth engine capable of producing 300 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and speeds in excess of 175 mph.
