Rallycross

Rally cross takes place on a track with asphalt and mud/gravel with cars racing wheel to wheel against each other. Many of the cars are similar to the sophisticated world rally championship cars, but specially modified to rally cross specification to cope with the close wheel-to-wheel racing. All 3 classes of the FIA European Rallycross championship have been won on Avon tyres for the last 5 years. Current European Rallycross champion Kenneth Hansen has won the title seven times on Avon tyres.
