Historic Rally

There has been huge growth in Historic rallying from mid 90's to-date. Events include tarmac road rallies covering several hundred miles with stages on closed roads or on road racing, winter events on ice and snow, and others on gravel tracks. Participating cars have to be road legal and not older than a 1931 or younger than a 1981 model. There are more than 17 classes for Touring and GT cars ranging from a Ford Anglia to Ferrari 250 GTO's. Avon's very successful CR6ZZ being the popular choice for most conditions. Avon has several ranges of road legal tyres suitable for most tarmac conditions including ACB10, CR500, CR28 SPORT and the very latest ZZR. For some events drivers are permitted to use hand cut slicks on closed roads and on circuit stages, Avon again has many of the sizes required.
